Skilled worker visa
Skilled worker visa is for a skilled worker from outside of the UK to work in the UK, the skilled worker has to be offered a job from a list of the registered sponsors and be assigned a certificate of sponsorship to apply for a skilled worker visa.
Sponsor licence application
In order to employ a skilled worker, the employer has to apply for a sponsor licence. Each sponsor licence is valid for four years. When the sponsor licence nearly expires, the employer/sponsor can apply for a renewal.
Sponsorship compliance
UK Visas and Immigration will often visit a sponsor to inspect their compliance. This can be announce visit or unannounced visit. The visit is to ensure you met and continue to meet UKVI sponsor duties.
